“Education and youth work for social entrepreneurship with and for immigrants and asylum seekers” (ywSEimm)

01/09/2018 – 31/07/2019

Summary of the project:

Last few years social entrepreneurship has gained growing attention as a way of addressing social challenges, the most prominent currently being immigration.

Partners believe that with education about social entrepreneurship and by empowerment for integration we are contributing to solving the situation on exclusion in our communities, but also individual situations of unemployed youngsters (with fewer opportunities in general and of immigrant background in specific). We hope to best do it through promotion and organising of education and mentoring youngsters in starting social enterprises.

After doing a short survey among our youth workers and beneficiaries, partners agreed that this project should aim to build capacity of youth workers and youth organisations in field of social entrepreneurship with/for young immigrants and asylum seekers through empowerment of youth workers and developing the needed tools and courses for offline and online education and mentoring of beneficiaries in our communities and on European level.
